A lack of facility system capacities impacted plans for a future expansion of mask operations for buildings M1, M2 and M3.
Gordon Prill assisted Intel to evaluate multiple options for various systems (exhaust, make up air (MUA), chilled and hot water systems, solvent exhaust, scrubbed exhaust and Ultra Pure Water) with respect to existing system capacity, expansion program requirements, location, feasibility and economics.
After developing the program for the expansion, we provided design services through construction documents.
The construction cost was estimated at approximately $20 million.
