Gordon Prill services: Architectural Design, MEP Engineering & Construction
Research in the Fernald Lab is focused on understanding the mechanisms through which social change is transduced into cellular and molecular changes. Researchers use techniques from behavioral observation to molecular probes to discover how the brain is influenced by social change.
The model for study is the teleost fish. First, it offers the opportunity to manipulate aspects of the social system and measure the consequences of the manipulations at the behavioral, physiological and molecular levels; and second, for work on visual system development, teleost fish continue to grow, adding new neurons throughout life.
"The Gordon Prill Project Manager was professional, focused and got the job done with excellent attention to the final product. Clear drawings, accurate presentations of what was being done and no surprises." Dr. Russell Fernald, Professor, Department of Biology.
