ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - MID TO SENIOR LEVEL

If you are an experienced, licensed Electrical Engineer with 5 to 10+ years of experience, we want to hear from you. In this position, you will participate on a full-service design team on complex industrial and technology building projects from inception through construction documents. You will be responsible for the design of electrical systems including substations, building power distribution systems, lighting and lighting control systems, emergency/standby and cogeneration generator systems, uninterruptible power systems, building controls and life safety systems. Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering design experience for industrial building projects
  • BS in electrical engineering
  • Licensed engineer in California
  • LEED accreditation highly recommended
  • Strong production skills using AutoCAD mandatory
  • Experience with Revit/BIM a plus
  • Experience with SKM/Etap software a plus
  • Strong skills with MS Word, Excel, Access and Project
  • Knowledge of current CalGreen, Title 24, CEC and local building codes is essential
  • Must have electrical engineering design experience for industrial facilities, labs and clean rooms involving substations, generators, load analysis for equipment and tool installation, lighting, communications and electrical distribution for campus wide facilities
  • Knowledge of short circuit / coordination / arc flash and use of SKM and/or ETAP software
  • Strong communications skills required to coordinate work between in-house design team members
  • Strong presentation and teaming skills to coordinate with client management and end-user representatives

ELECTRICAL DESIGNER

Opening for Entry Level Electrical Engineering Designer - we are looking for an exceptional person who who has 1-3 years of experience with building design and who is motivated to learn more and develop their careers. This person will be assisting with the design of electrical systems for commercial and industrial facilities in the semiconductor, aerospace, biotech and university markets. Requirements:

· BS in Electrical Engineering (E.I.T. a plus)
·
Planning to pursue a California license in their field

· Familiarity with AutoCad
· Familiarity with Revit/BIM a plus
· Strong skills with MS Word, Excel, Access and Project
· Ability to read blue prints
· Good writing and verbal skills

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER/ SUPERINTENDENT 

We are seeking a a Construction Manager / Superintendent with ten plus years on-site construction experience. You will workwith other construction personnel as well as Gordon Prill’s in-house design and engineering staff to facilitate proper management of commercial, light industrial and high-tech manufacturing construction projects, often on a fast-track basis. The work involves contract management, construction scheduling, subcontractor coordination, Owner relations, quality assurance and enforcement of safety policies. Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project. Capability of managing on-site field activities with the trades. You will be facilitating and managing all projects aspects which may require both PM and Superintendent duties.

o Schedule development, tracking & recovery

o Subcontracts

> Scope development

> Contracts

> Correspondence / LOI / Warranty

> Submittals / RFIs / CORs

> Changer Order Management (both Prime Contract and Subcontracts)

> Invoicing

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Manager or Superintendent with wide range of project size from $100k to $10M+
  • BS in Construction Management a plus or equibalent hands on field management experience
  • Must be able to review and comprehend complex project bid documents and project requirements
  • Must be motivated, detail oriented, responsible, punctual, and posses excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must work well in team environment yet also be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be local to SF Bay Area and familiar with local construction markets and contractors
